Dancing lessons-Recommendations.
I love FH but he suffers from two left feet. I have rythmn but never formally learned. We are looking for a place in North Western Suffolk (Huntington, East Northport, Commack area) preferrably.
For those of you who took them, what places would you recommend?
What were their packages? Prices? Group? Individual?
TIA

Same problem here.. I keep asking around to see if they make STEEL TIPPED WEDDING SHOES!! lol... jk...FH wants to get lessons ASAP, cause he wants to be better by then.. I'm thinking of Arthur Murray, who I know has locations all over the island.. and I think in Huntington... Haven't looked into it yet.. but I think they are kinda pricey... not sure though...
Let me know if you find someone!

Re: Dancing lessons-Recommendations.
FH has already started asking me about dance lessons and we're not getting married til June06. It's very sweet though. He doesn't want to do the typical swaying back and forth for our first dance. He even wanted me to go to a dance studio and play our wedding song for them just to make sure it was a good first dance song!! I didn't though....There are a couple of vendors listed on LIW, but we'll probably just go to Arthur Murray in Huntington because it's close to us.

FH and I just took our free introductory lessons at an Arthur Murray's in Bayside Queens. I know they have other studios on LI. We were told we have good rhythm and timing, we just need some fine tuning. They have several different packages, private and group. We selected 4 private lessons and they will choreograph our first dance. The price was $368.

We're going to Arthur Murray in Huntington (on 110 next to the mall) and we love it. Speak to James or Kerry, they are the owners.

I live right near the Walt Whitman mall, but don't recall ever seeing Arthur Murray nearby. Are the on the same side of 110? North or South of the mall??
