NWR-Need some shopping advice

Last night I ventured over to Roosevelt Field in search of a dress for a wedding I have to go to 4/17...I am looking for something very simple (black strapless dress)

I was in Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney's, Jessica McClintok & Bloomindales...No one had anything remotely decent...Does anyone know of a place to go besides Estelles??

Have you tried Express, TJ Maxx or Marshalls? I know I got a cute, but not cheap looking one at Express. TJ Maxx and Marshalls are hit or miss with me.

You can try Century 21 also. They're hit or miss, but sometimes they have nice dresses up on the second floor.

Try Filene's Basement. I got a Ralph Lauren cocktail dress there for $25. Major markdown!

SOmetimes Davids Bridal has dresses other than wedding and bridesmaids...I got a dress for a formal there once.....they may be a little promy but you could try

What about the Lord and Taylor outlet on Hempstead Turnpike in L-town? Never been there, but I would imagine it would be hit or miss

i got an Express dress- strapless and stretchy black from marshalls for $12.99. Try Marshalls in Syosset on Jehrico Turnpike.
Ann taylor has adorable strapless dresses.
You may even find something at forever 21.

Kris: I had to take Katelyn this weekend to find a 'simple black dress' and there was nothing at any mall!!! I would try Lord and Taylor... or Banana or JCrew!! I forgot about them! We didn't go there!

You can also try H&M. They have really cute dresses there sometimes. I got alot of dresses there last year for weddings that I had to go to.
