I can't believe I forgot to tell you girls...

FMIL was one of the Daily News bogus $100,000 winners.

We went down to the redemption center yesterday morning and there were a couple thousand ppl with winning tickets! One guy had winning $500, $1,000, $10,000 and $100,000 tickets!!!

Daily News does 'Scratch 'n Match' every week. In Sunday's paper there is a scratch gamecard and then they give you 10 #'s in everyday's paper. You scratch off the corresponding #'s on your gamecard to reveal prize amounts. If you get 3 like amounts you win that prize.

Well, Saturday FMIL scratched off her #'s and it revealed 3 $100,000 prizes. So technically she thought she had one.

On Sunday, The Daily News reported that they had printed a wrong #. The #13 should have been a 12. People are furious over this. As of last night 6 lawsuits had been filed.

I heard about this on news12 this morning! I feel so bad for all the people who thought they won! I feel like they should all get SOMETHING!

So do I, she was so excited. She was planning off her debt and help us out with some $ for the wedding. Oh, Well.

Yea, we had a friend of the family win $100,000 too. It's so disappointing. Daily News HAS to do something...total BS.

That does s*ck! I just had my friend tell me that her someone in her family won $10k and I think it may have been her dad!

Ouch! Got to hurt to find out u arent geting the $$$$$$$$$$!!

Six have already been filed. I don't know if it'll do anything though. In 1999, the same thing happened with the Daily News and the 4 cases were dismissed, but now there are thousands of people. So who knows?

I can't imagine how disappointed they must feel. One man said that he couldn't sleep all night thinking that he won. The next night, he couldn't sleep knowing that he didn't win. So sad! I never liked that paper anyway, but I will definitely stop buying it now.

That really stinks! Imagine thinking that you won all that money and then found out that you really didn't. That's a lot of $$ too...its not like its only $50.00 or something.
