I need your help...what are some questions to ask the catering hall when negoiating?
I know there was once a thread, or I thought there was, but I can't get it to come up. I'm helping my niece book a hall and I just want to make sure I remember everything I am suppose to be helping with. Thanks!

I asked if we received any discounts or upgrades if we used their vendors because they make money off the vendors on their list.

The only things I heard re: this is house vendor meals are cheaper than other vendors. It is worth a shot to ask.

I'm not sure if it was on the list, but the minimum # of guests you have to pay for matters a great deal. Most Saturday nights are 150 min. if you haggle a bit, and they lower the min # you must pay for, it could save hundreds.
