extended stay hotel

i think i don't have enough rooms blocked at the hilton and i wanted to give guests an option so i called extended stay which is right next door to block some more off..they don't block and they wanted everyone's name and credit card NOW so that i can book the room for them..yeah right..the invites aren't even out yet..how frustrating..i guess hilton is getting all the business that night..sorry just needed to vent

Re: extended stay hotel

We blocked at the Marriott, which is not too far from the Hilton (or the Carlyle, for that matter). Our guests really liked it there, and the hotel called us afterward to make sure everything was OK, etc.

Re: extended stay hotel

Yeah, I just called the extended stay also and was kind of annoyed that they do not block rooms for you. But I liked the idea of having a kitchen in the rooms for my Cali. relatives with children. Do you think $139.99 is a lot for a room there?

Re: extended stay hotel

Would you consider the new Homewood Suites in Plainview? Don't worry, I don't work there, but I have contact info if you need it. It's brand new and beautiful, but I'm not sure of their rates. It wouldn't be too far from Carlyle (I work in Plainview, so I've 'snooped)
