Photographer suggestions for comparison!

I work for a newspaper, and am thinking about hiring a colleague of mine who primarily is a wedding photographer. However, I figure it would be a good idea to take a look at and meet with a couple others just for comparison.

So here is what I am looking for:
Primarily documentary/photojournalism; not necessecarily a studio, but an individual photographer; someone who charges around $3k for a package that includes an assistant, prints and negatives. I'm already considering Karen Gordon, Angelica Glass and Natasha Staszack. Is there anyone else you would reccomend?

K & J Photography. They will give you your negatives. I could not believe how many places wouldn't!
