Re: Beer and Wine for E-Party or no Drinks at all....
We had 2 kegs and we bought like 10 boxes of wine for 140 people--we went through both kegs but had about 8 boxes of wine left. It was cheaper to get the kegs then get cans or bottles. I think it would be a good idea.

Re: Beer and Wine for E-Party or no Drinks at all....
I even went so far as to have beer and wine only at the wedding! (Since it was a vineyard, everyone pretty much wanted wine anyway!) The full bar was too much for us, and we know that most of our friends & family are not huge liquor drinkers anyway. It was fine!!!

I did open bar because the price was reasonable but beer and wine is fine. I would have done just that if the price was too much.

Re: Beer and Wine for E-Party or no Drinks at all....
we are having beer and wine only- but my uncle owns the restaurant so it is only $5pp for the bar...if it is a lunch thing I would say skip it entirely, otherwise go w/beer and wine.

We decided to have an open bar and it was one of our best decisions - if you are between beer and wine or no drinks - IMO I say beer and wine - good luck with planning - have fun

Well, E-Party date twin We are having an open bar with bottled beer. We opted for this choice b/c it is what most suited our guests and us. It's additional $5 for open bar with pitchers of beer and $8 for open bar w/ bottled beer. To us, it was worth the extra $. The best thing is we only pay the extra bar $ for those over 21. Anyone under 21, we only have to pay for their food portion. I'd say think of your guests and yourselves, which would you prefer? We personally prefer bottled beer over tap.
Good Luck!!
