How many weeks B4 the wedding for RSVP?

sorry about all the questions ladies... I just want to make sure I am all set to place my invite order

My hall said we can give them a final count up to 4 days before the wedding - which is GREAT!

Is asking for an RSVP 3 weeks before the wedding date ok, or should it be sooner/later?

Are you doing your own seating and placecards? I would do 4 weeks before. By the time you get them all in, it will be 3 weeks before.

We're doing four weeks. That will give us some time to track down the people who don't RSVP!

I would do 4 or 6 weeks because you will have some people that repond late or wont respond at all that you will have to track down. You also want to be sure that you have enough time to figure out seating.

I did 4 weeks before and now its 3 weeks before and im still waiting on about 12 people...

4 weeks is best. You're going to have to hunt some people down no matter what so you might as well start sooner rather than later.

Also there are a lot of last minute details you need to wait on until you get the guest list.
