Photographer between a certain price

I know there are tons of threads about photographers/videographers. I just wanted to get an idea of what photo I can find for no more than 2k or a smidge more and for video, maybe no more than 3k or vice versa. Between both 5k or less. I'm hoping on less.

I go into websites but some don't give prices and I don't wanna call for an appointment if the prices are completely out of my budget.

I second Twelfth Night...and for video they recommend Mittermax. We went with Bliss...can't go wrong with either and definitely in your price range.

I FMed you prices for Artisan. I don't have the video prices typed up, but their MOST expensive video was only $1700, and I'm sure they give discounts for booking both...

I sent the photo prices.

ETA: I really think Artisan has GREAT prices and really high qualty. Sme of the other less expensive places have pretty low quality prints, etc...


I just looked in my massive wedding binder. I sent you an FM with Artisan's photo packages, which start at $3300, including all proofs and negs, and engagement shoot, etc, etc.
and I saw that the video starts at $1200 for a very basic video, $1500 for a 'classic vdieo edit' and $1700 for the whole shebang, so you can easily get photo and video for under $5000. Plus I'm pretty sure he'll work with you if you tell him what you need. Chuck is the owner and the lead photographer, he used to be one of the lead photographers of a major photo group and decided to branch out on his own, and he really prides himself on being able to customize now and not follow stringent guidelines.

I know I sound like an ad, but I just really thought Artisan was so great, from my first conversations with Lynn (office manager?) who is a total sweetie, to my meeting with Chuck, everything was just really smooth. I've been to other photo studios and been SO turned off with people who need to do thing THEIR way, or who couldn't 'talk shop' with me about photography if their lives dpended on it. I liked talking to someone who was honest and passionate.

We paid less than what you budgeted for photographer and videographer. We used Chuck Marcy (a vendor here) for photography and Bellarino for videography.
