Re: E Ring Insurance

I am not sure ihow it works if you are renting...he owns a condo so he did under homeowners...i can ask him when i get home tonight though... he may know

(I just realized that the way I wrote my first comment made it sound like I was asking if you were renting, so I changed it)

Re: E Ring Insurance

FH had strict instructions not to put an uninsured ring on my finger. I work in a dangerous neighborhood and would not risk it. If a man with a gun wants my ring, I won't fight him. He can have it. I called my insurance company for information. They said I could put a rider on my renter's insurance policy if he simply faxed the appraisal to their office. My sister did the same thing on her renter's policy as well and paid a yearly fee spread over 12 months.

Re: E Ring Insurance

we are renting and I was able to get insurance to cover my e-ring...i did already have renter's insurance though and they just added it on to that. I'm sure you can get it separately.

Re: E Ring Insurance

We were able to add it onto on renter's insurance. I was on the phone with my aunt who works for state farm the day after I was engaged to get this puppy insured.

Re: E Ring Insurance

It took me 5 months to get my ring insured. FH actually took it to FL uninsured to propose, but then I amde sure it was insuared before we got on the plane again 5 months later. It cost I think $385 or something per year on my parent's homeowner's, and I'm not sure how it's paid
