Re: Another St. Lucia Sandals question - restaurants?
At Halcyon, The Pier and Marios. When DH and I came back from our day at the Grande, there were a bunch of people on our shuttle going to those places. We ate at the London Pub at the Grande. Not fancy, but the food was good and there was a lot of it. We'd been on the beach all day and didn't want to go to one of the nicer places.
ETA: We ate at Mario's and the Pier. We both thought the food was great at both.

The Italian restaurant in the Grande was really good. Our friends went about a month before us and said the Japanese and French ones were good, I don't remember what hotel they were in. Make reservations right away or you won't get in!

Re: Another St. Lucia Sandals question - restaurants?
We went to eat @ all 3 resorts...The Grande (where we stayed): Bayside was good for brealfast if you didn't order in and they had alot of selections, Josephines was good for lunch if you wanted Crepes and there is a place on the beach open for lunch and dinner called barefoot by the the beach that was good for burgers and stuff. dinner was good htere- i believe they had surf and turf too. I do not rec'd the Pub- I was not impressed @ all!!! By far the best A the grande was the Italian place (I am blanking on the name- sorry).
Halcyon - The Pier was good (more eclectic foods) and the setting was really nice for dinner. We also did an Italian place in the halcyon - but i was not too impressed w/ it!
Regency - La Toc was amazing for dinner- very very nice and food was yummmmmy!!! We also did the Japanese rest. there and it was very fun, however it was not really like the japanese places here. I also heard Marios @ the regency was very good!
Hope this helps! Just keep in mind that some places are closed on certain nights of the week. So as soon as you get settles- make all your reservations for the week b/c they fill up very very quickly! Let me know if you have any questions!

Definitely the Pier at Halcyon. We also really enjoyed the Italian restaurant at the Grande much better than the one at Halcyon. Have a wonderful time!!

Loved the Pier at Halycon, Armondo's, The Japanese place and La Toc at the regency. Definitely make your reservations before you go. We were not able to get into Mario's because they only have 2 table for each other the other resorts
