Baby Kitty - UPDATE PRAYERS NEEDED

UPDATE - The one surviving baby is not doing well

I noticed she was having a hard time breathing so we took her to the vet last night and the vet doesnt think she will live. She has a stomach virus, which is causing her a tremendous amount of pain, which is why she is breathing so hard.
He gave us two medications, told us to give her some kero syrup so she'll have some sugar in her stomach, and keep her warm.... I've been taking care of her all day and its breaking my heart. I feel like I am forceing these medications down her throat and I can tell she is in so much pain. I dont know whats better, to try and save her or to let her go.... I am soo upset right now

Original post - We took in another stray this winter, who we later found out was pregnant. Unfortunately the poor kitty had a very rough week

We woke up Sunday morning and found that she had delivered a very large kitten in her liter box, who passed away in the birth canal. Monday she gave birth to two very tiny baby kittys who seemed to be in good health. Then Tuesday when I came home from work, I found momma in distress with a kitten stuck in her birth canal

She was rushed to the emergency animal hospital for a c-section and a spaying. The vet said she had 'giaganticism' (sp?) which meant she would have never been able to push such a large kitten out. One of the kittens who was born alive passed away at the hospital. So only 1 out of the 4 total kittens has made it.
The vet told us that because momma was spayed, she may not be producing milk and we would have to bottle feed the baby kitty.
Anyway just wanted to share, we had an emotional week... but baby is doing just fine! Here are some picts!!!

wow - that is some story! Poor mommy kitty. The baby is so cute. You're so nice to be taking care of her this way. I'm sure it's been tough.

That's so sad

Good luck w/the kitten. We found a baby kitten in our bushes one time (the Momma got hit in front of our house) and we tried to bottle feed him. He was doing great but unfortunately still passed.

That's so nice that you are helping these poor kitties out
