Spinoff to 'what Vet to use' thread....do you know what YOUR vet does with your deceased pet?

we chose Dr Deverna in Stony Brook because they were close, but also for their reputation and my grandmother had told us that when an animal is put down/passes on, Dr Deverna and the practice there (I can't remember this 100% correct) send the pet to the animal cemetary for burial and donates the money/part of the money in that animals' name (I think it's Bide-A_Wee) at the cemetary.

That meant a lot to me when my cats had to be put down as they all passed on due to age/sickness.
