Re: Can someone explain to me how CD 9, 11, 13 are good BD days

It all depends on when you ovulate. If you generally ovulate on CD 14 then you bd every other day until you ovulate. It doesn't hurt if you continue to bd after in case you ovulate after CD14. I ovulate around CD19 so I would not have BD on CD 9,11 and 13

Re: Can someone explain to me how CD 9, 11, 13 are good BD days

I'm struggling with the right days too. My cycle is 51 days long. Since we've had no luck so far we're going to start the BD every other day starting the day after AF leaves. We're going to try that for April and May and if nothing by then I'm headed to the doctor.

Are you charting?

not formally charting, just really counting and following my ovulation calendar on WEbMd......

I was going to start BD on CD 9 and go a few days after CD 15 since my longest cycle was 30 days

I just wanted to say that al ot of the times those ovulation calendars are wrong..they think every woman ovulates 14 from her first cd..that usually is not the case..

Exactly, the key is knowing when you ovulate... If you ovulated on CD 14 or so, then CD 11-14 would give you the best chance of getting PG. I know I usually ovulate around CD 19 of a 30-day cycle, so I would always try to 'go hard' at it from CD 15 or so, and not stop until I could see that I've ovulated (via temps and/or LH test).

If you're not charting, then you can't say when (or sometimes even if!) you ovulate, so the general recommendation is to BD every other day during the common fertile times, which would be between around CD 10-20.

Re: Can someone explain to me how CD 9, 11, 13 are good BD days

When I had gone to my Dr the last time (before positive) he told me to start Bding five days after AF,and keep going every other day.
This is what I did and it worked for me.

I couldnt agree more! So far I haven't found one website that is accurate in telling me when I am going to O. So I rely on temps/charting and OPKs...oh, yeah and lots of BDing

Re: Can someone explain to me how CD 9, 11, 13 are good BD days

Those calendars don't work for me. The past few months I've ovulated late and had short luteal phases. And my cycles have been 28-30 days long too, so that doesn't mean a thing.

If you don't get pg this month maybe try charting just once to see how your cycles are.
