Getting Worried - a little long
I probably should have done this months ago when first considering reception halls, but this past weekend I browsed through LI and NYC Wedding archives for some reviews on the Ariana Waterfall. They were not very good. Some of the posts were old, going back as far as 2001, so taking that into consideration, I am requesting opinions/reviews from anyone who has been there for a function fairly recently. Most of the 'bad press' was about their location (which I agree is not very impressive, but it wasn't that important to me); but there were also bad reviews about the food. This is my main concern.Everything I know about Ariana, I love. The proprieter is great, the prices are great and I love the rooms and the layout.
Does anyone have any good news for me? TIA

Re: Getting Worried - a little long
You know what? I did the same thing shortly before my wedding and all it did was drive me crazy with worry for a month or two before the wedding. I saw some bad reviews and focused on them, instead of the good ones. It turned out that I had a wonderful day at my hall and I think some of the complaints were about things that were not really all that important to me.I have heard some of the people who booked Ariana Waterfall say they were very happy with it. The neighborhood is fine - I lived there before I got married. It is on a busy street, but once you are inside, it won't matter. You've alread spent the money, so just try to move on to your next step in planning. If you got a good feeling from the hall, then follow your gut and don't worry about it.

You're absolutely right and that's the same thing FH is telling me. He is very happy with our choice.
Thank you
