For ladies in the 'transition' stage
I'm just about 19 weeks and have found that most of my pants aren't fitting anymore :( I kept hearing about the bella band but wasn't sure if it would work. On the website it explains that a woman used her tube top and that's how she came up with the bella band. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I looked through my stuff and walla I found a tube top......I used it today and it works WONDERS!!!! I am soooo comfortable
SO if you have a tube top..break it out! I think I still may purchase a white bella band b/c my tube top is black with white specks and it does stick out the bottom of my shirt a little so it may not match many things.HTH

All i can say is WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!!!!!!!! I only have a few days to go BUT it really really helped. With my belly dropping the Panel in the pants is uncomfy and i am not a sweatpants wearer! I just went thru my summer trunk and found all my tube tops! And tried this outAll i can say is THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it will even help for after birth till I get back to my regular size. Keeps the stomach tight (sort of like a girdle)
Wish I would of saw this sooner but Better late then Never!

Great idea! Thanks! Plus I had to add...you're JUST not fitting in your pants now?? Oh to be you!
I'm in my 16th week and I haven't fit in my regular jeans or pants since week 9!! My belly isn't huge, but it's bloated enough where nothing closes. Let's see a belly pic!

Re: For ladies in the 'transition' stage
I still don't get it!! Are those regular pants that are unbuttoned and the tube keeps them up? Or are those Maternity pants? Sorry to sound so dumb, but I just still don't get it!

I can't say enough about this contraption! I've been wearing it for a while now and into my 18th week and still wearing my regular pants!! Yes, your pants are worn unbuttoned and you put that thing over it to hold it all together. I actually bought the real Bella Band in black, but now I want to get it in white for the summer!

Re: For ladies in the 'transition' stage
Don't you see the button from your jeans sticking out throught the band? Does it really hold them up? It would seem like they would still slip down if I didn't button or zip!

You would think, but no, not really, plus your shirt would hide that.
My only complaint is that it tends to ride up around my waist in the back...maybe it has something to do with the size of my a$$!!!

Re: For ladies in the 'transition' stage
Thats a great idea. I'm getting to the point where my regular pants are getting snug. I have 3 more weeks of student teaching left and was hoping not to have to buy clothes for that.

Re: For ladies in the 'transition' stage
I'm so happy to help!!!!!!!!! I can't tell you how comfortable I was ALL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Many of my jeans stopped fitting me a long time ago but a few still fit (with a rubberband) and many of my work clothes fit (with rubberband). BUT the rubberband trick is starting to jurt when I bend over.
With the tube top I wore it just like the first picture. I wore it to keep my pants up (they were zipped 1/2 way and unbuttoned), not over my belly.
I wish I had a white tube top b/c now I have to break down and buy the bella band anyway :(.
FOr anyone that already has one, is the material very thin? It looks thin and I wonder if the button still sticks out a bit? With the tube top, it was a cotton material but not smoothe so you couldn't tell.
You definately have to wear a longer shirt though b/c the bottom sticks out (figure you have to keep it low enough so the unzipped zipper isn't showing)....that's why I want white so it looks like a tshirt under it.
