I am interested that so many of you married your high school sweethearts or the first person you were with....

I feel like such a slut! LOL....My Dh and I met by accident and I was dating 2 other guys at the same time.

I think it is really sweat that so many of you were able to find love so early. I had many frogs before I found my guy.

I just have to say that even though DH was my first real relationship and first sex, we were 25!!

I was a late bloomer as far as dating. I hung out with a few guys in college but never had a real relationship until DH. I pined after an unattainable guy for most of college and right after college. I was horribly insecure about dating.

Even as a kid I found my share of frogs. It was weird, at the same time I thought I wouldn't get married until alter in life, but I also had a fantasy of amrrying my high school sweetheart. After really getting burned in a few relationships in HS (I was in some really serious relationships)..I really wasn't looking for anyone..but FH and I met b/c we hung out with the same people, and after awhile even though I was dating somsone else I felt drawn to him. We didn't get together right away, but I found that whenever I had a success or a letdown in my life, I'd go to him with it. Most vividly I remembered how I had strgulled all year with physics. I was fialing every test, and I mean failing bad, I remember getting a 42 on one exam and a 16 on another (damn science high school...they can't give us EASY physics..lol) and then I really buckled down and studied and I got a 92 on a test, and the first thing I did was I ran out of the classroom and found FH and told him about it and he gave me this huge hug, and I guess that's one of the things that really startedit.

And then when we found out we liked each other, we didn't start dating right away because I had just broken up with my really long term boyfriend and I was crushed..I mean this was the guy that made my heart do cartwheels and he dumped me all of a sudden and it was really harsh..and FH backed off b/c he didn't want to be a rebound guy, and I was really hurt...I ende dup dating someone else, who was a real loser, and FH was really there for me. I'd complain and he was there to tell me I deserved better. I finally dumped that crappy bf I had and went out with FH. I really didn't know we'd be getting married. I was so scared at first..but he eased my fears

I also had alot of Frogs before DH and I found each other. Meeting the Frogs only makes me appreciate DH even more!

Even though I wasn't with anyone else (sexually) I 'hung out' with my share of guys. Mike and I met when I was 14 when I was 19 we broke up got back together 2 months later 6 days after my 20 birthday. We did have our breakup time I hung out with guys during that time (again nothing sexual) I am so in Love with him and NEVER EVER saw myself with anyone else.

Hung out with other guys in college- but met FH my freshman year, we became friends and made it all official in the beg of sophmore year and we were together since...but in HS i had one BF who i thought was great but was DEF a frog- I appreciate my FH much mroe because of those FROGS and I undestand what I want and dont want even more too

My dh was my first everything! I was still in H.S. and he had just gotten out of the army. We were young when we got married 21/23 but I just think that allowed us more together time before having kids and I would not ever regret that I did not date other people.

My FH and I met and started dating when I was a junior and he was a senior. Actually we'd met each other about 2 years earlier, but neither of us knew the other's name.

I had several boyfriends before him, one of them was for most of high school, but I was FH's first kiss.

DO NOT FEEL LIKE THAT!!! you are so funny! I am one of those cheesy people that believe in soulmates, and that there is one right person for everyone in the world. it does not matter when you meet them, as long as you do! While I know how fortunate I am to having had FH be my first everything, it does not make our relationship any more special than those of you who took a little longer to get together w/ your SO. just think, at least you knew what you were doing in the bedroom the first time you guys were together, picture us newbies

DH was my first real boyfriend, I met him my sophomore year of HS, he had just moved to FL from MA, my family had just moved to FL from NY. I wasn't allowed to date yet, so we just met up with each other between classes and at lunch.

One night, out of the blue he called me, I was surprised because I did not give him my number. He said I was giving it to my friend during a class and was listening and wrote it down.

Then our junior year I was a door opener at a restaurant, and he also applied there and got a job, it drove my mother crazy. So then we saw each other at work all the time too.

Then the end of my senior year things got crazy. My parents wanted me to go away to school, but I did not want to leave him, he was going to a local college. I went back up to NY with my family, but only lasted up there for 4 months.

Then I moved back to FL, got an apartment with my friends and went to the local college with DH. And we have been together ever since. 11 years!! He is my soulmate, my try love, and my best friend. It is weird too because I love my family, but I REALLY love DH. It has been like that forever. DH's parents did not like me at all, my parents did not want me in a serious relationship at such a young age, so we had our definate obstacles.
