For people whose parents divorced later in life and remarried...
Where did your parents meet their new SO or spouse? My mom is 60, and great, but it just seems so hard to meet men...Any activities she does are usually mostly women, or men with their wives...I totally don't see her trying the online thing...It's so hard to meet guys in your 20s; I can't even imagine being 60...

My mother met her current husband while she she was waitressing. They married 2 years ago and both are now 60. My mother met a lot of men that this particular restaurant. Maybe you and your mom could start going there and having drinks at the bar. The name of the restaurant is Fred's in Huntington.

Re: For people whose parents divorced later in life and remarried...
oh, I can help withthis one! My mom a.k.a. Liz Taylor has been married three times already and is currently working on hubby #4.... My dad has also remarried and my stepdad is dating. Yes this is my real life and not a Jerry Springer episode
With my mom - she first met her current 'beau' through her old job. He was a client of the laywer she worked for and always used to come in a and flirt (innocent) with my mom - who was married to my stepdad at the time. So years later after divorcing my stepdad, she's talking with her old boss who she's very good friends with, and he mentions that this same client was just in the other day and was asking about her... blah blah blah - so he tells him that she's divorced now, and wouldn't you know it, he calls my mom the next day to ask her out!
it was actually kind of cute in a way since he had a crush on her all those years and never said anything bc she was married. My dad met my stepmom through a setup by a mutual friend. This lady knew my dad and my stepmom and thoguht they should meet. Well, they did, fell in love and have been married for about 12 years now :)
My stepdad is a swinging bachelor and is dating someone in Delaware right now
Again, this is really my family, I swear!

My mother met her SO thru work - they were both in the same field. There's no shame in your mom's getting the girls together for a night out in AC or something to that effect.

I don't think she would get married again (she always says why would I want to have to take care of some old guy), but I think it would be nice for her to have a guy to do things with...She's kind of the same way though...

That's so funny to imagine me and my mom picking up guys together. Maybe we'll try it...Thanks
