How come I can't change my chat avatar?

I made sure it was the right size and a jpeg file, but it won't change... What am I doing wrong?

nothing...try refreshing..if not, then wait til tomorrow...my new avatar didn't kick in til after like 2 or 3 days AFTER I'd changed it...

i see duran duran.....which is ironic because my friend met them at a radio station the other day and sent me pictures, so i've been thinking about them a lot

that used to happen to me too.... try refreshing the page or close the web page and open a new one... then it may show up for you (i see duran duran too)

I am going to try logging out and logging back in... maybe that will help... its so weird, I still see the old pic. If it doesn't change, I'll email Ron.

okay, now its really weird, I logged onto the computer through DH site and went onto LI weddings that way, and now I see the picture of Duran Duran.

ITS THE SAME COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess so... I will try to delete some cookies from mine or maybe AOL is letting it change...

HIt F5 after you try to change your picture. You need to refresh your browser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steph hit F5 I initially did too. Not all browers refresh everytime we sign on!

Its only on AOL that it won't change the picture.

I tried F5 but that didn't work either. Then I went onto AOL settings to try to delete my cookies on AOL and it keeps freezing my computer and I have to log off.
I tried to delete cookies on regular internet explorer, but its not helping the problem... AOL is killing me.

I hit f5! I still see tho old pic.

I keep trying to change mine too and can't- I don't have aol.
