If your parents are paying for the wedding....what are you getting them???

i wanted to get them a gift certificate to Gurney's inn for the weekend but i brought it up and they mentioned it was a waste of money

I wanted to buy them a together gift, but they didnt seem too thrilled...So i bought my mom a beautiful diamond bracelet (pricey, but she deserves it) and my dad gave me some ideas about what he would like. I asked him flat out, since he is hard to buy for. My moms is a complete surprise and I'm hoping she loves it!

I am getting mine a nice engraved frame for the wedding picture (with a poem inside the frame), their album and I am thinking a gift certificate to dinner . . .

I'm thinking gift certificates for dinners... but i like the idea of a digital camera too.

So weird,,FH and I were just talking about this yesterday,,,,,,,

I wanted to send them on a trip,,but I just found out that my parents already booked a trip for the follwoing week after our wedding .....

So then I thought maybe a nice piece of jewelry for our mothers to wear the day of our wedding and a nice watch for our fathers,,but between both parents,they have enough jewelry to open up a store....

So as of now,,WE have no idea what to get them!!!!!!!

Dinner is something we can do anytime,,,so I want to think of something different....

We were going to send them on a cruise but they just booked a trip to Florida for after the wedding and may add a cruise to it! Now we are debating between a gift certificate to Liberty Travel or giving my mom a photo quilt and my dad some cooking courses.
