I am a bad friend - shower related! Gift Ideas needed!

First I forgot to RSVP to her shower and just did 2 days late!

I just checked her registry and everything is gone

SO now I have to think so something cool to give her.

I went to a shower once for a co worker and gave her an Eckerd's gift card for developing honeymoon pics. She loved it.

A gift card sounds like a good idea since everything else is gone...good luck

Same thing happened ot me. I gave a gift certificate for a massage at the spa, she loved it!!

YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK IS A GREAT GIFT? A G/C TO GET HER WEDDING GOWN PRESERVED!! MOST CLEANERS DO IT AND ALL BRIDES NEED IT!!! :)

I'd give her a gift certificate to the store she registered at. I'm sure there are other things that she wanted, but may not have put on her registry for whatever reason.

I think a GC is a good idea also. A massage might come in handy before her wedding to help her relax. Also if you know what she is doing for her honeymoon you can maybe book a tour or something for her. Someone mentioned haveing the wedding dress preserved, they also have places where they can do that with your wedding day flowers. Good luck.

I would probably do something a little more personal and fun.

Perhaps the 'candle basket' or an 'emergency day-of kit' (once less thing she has to worry about). And then maybe if you have the money to spend, a GC to the place where she registered.

how about a honeymoon set....beach bag, towel, sunscreen, book for the beach, his and her flip flops. I like themed gifts

Definitely some sort of gift certificate. How about from where she gets her nails done? you could get her the 'works'. manicure, pedicure, massage, waxingm etc. I would personally LOVE that!!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I just spoke to another friend who didn't get anything yet either... I think we are going to team up for this one. I like the preserving the dress idea, and maybe a basket too!

How about the candle basket with a different color candle to light for each of the 'firsts' as a married couple.

Or my friend gave someone two nice bottles of champange, one for the first night, one for the year anniversary.

My mom and I came up with an idea for my cousins shower gift last year....

We knew they liked lobster, so we made a themed gift...

A big Lobster Boiling Pot, Seafood crackers, butter melting things(in some kind fo accessory place), lobster bibs, plates that showed 'how to eat a lobster'. a lobster cookbook, lobster napkins, lobster tablecloth, lobster pot holders, lobster dish towels...

We managed to fit everyting in the pot and wrapped it up nice nice

It was A HUGE hit!
