Need Dance lessons - recommendations in Queens or Nassau
My Dad has agreed to take dance lessons with me while my FH is on deployment. FH is a good dancer so I want to surprise him with my new dancing skills when he gets back. I have a recommendation for classes in Manhattan but my Dad doesn't want to go into the City. I was hoping someone could recommend someplace in Queens or Nassau. Thanks

Dh and I went to Arthur Murray in Bayside on Bell Blvd. Darryl was our instructor and he was great. In addition, he choregraphed father and daughter dance for us.

I took lessons a few years back at Queensborough college 1 night a week for 8 weeks & I also took it at St. John's college. The prices were much more reasonable (175. per couple for 8 lessons--although this was a few years ago) than Arthur Murray. I'd definitely check it out, it was in their continuing ed catalog.

FH and I took lessons at Arthur Murray's in Bayside also - they were great, the lessons are alot of fun. We learned the Rumba, the Cha-Cha and we now do a mean Fox Trot with fancy turns and moves. Siobhan was our instructor. We're going back in August and Siobhan's going to choreograph our first dance.Welcome New Vendors
