CALLED FH BY A COWORKERS NAME BY ACCIDENT:UPDATE

OK so FH is FURIOUS by accident when he called me just now and I said his name Fh was so mad he hung up the phone on me. And now he has cut his cellphone off I don't know what to do I don't even know how mad he is. LADIES ANY ADVICE

I don't know what to do he does'nt like him either my co-worker so it just made matters worse I am so upset I about to cry right now here at work

OUCH! I can imagine how you must feel especially being at work. I am sorry
I am sure he will get over it. I mean, it was a mistake, it happens.
Just tell him that you had just got done having a conversation with the co-worker. It happens. Don't beat yourself up over it.
Just leave him a message. I am sure he will call you back.

Last week I called FH and he thought I was his sister! Im like after x years you still dont know what I sound like on the phone. Then I realized he was working too so he wasnt devoting all of his attention on the phone call.

Im sure your FH will realize the same and get over it!

Leave him a message, tell him u were jus talking to him and it happened by mistake..
Tell him u love him and understand that he is upset, and u will be waiting for him to calm down.. When he is waiting to speak u will be there...

This to shall pass and everything will be ok!

I know how you feel. I've never done this in particular, but have offended FI to an extent where he just shut down. What hurts most is that they're slow to understand how unintentional certain mistakes are.

Like Borricuamorena0905 said, leave him a message and explain, then let your apology seep in. There is no need to beat yourself up either. You didn't do it on purpose. Keep us posted girl. Hang on in there.

sorry, didnt meant o make ight of it... but i used to call DH the wrong name ALL THE TIME for like our first year together (when i met him, i just knew his pledge name, and everyone called him that, so it took a while getting used to calling him by his real name)... i still have problems with it sometimes

(and then theres times that i call him Other names (i.e when he's not acting like the sweetest of guys),,, but thats a different topic for a different time)


leave him a message... but i dont think you have to go crazy explaining yourself. he needs to deal with it... there are worse things that could happen

He should understand since you are AT WORK right now!!!! Leave him a message but wait til you get home to talk about it. No sense in fighting or getting crazy when you cant see each other til later. Good Luck.

I've done that also! luckily, my dog's name is Charlie and not Stoopid or Dumbarse - although he answers to both of those The dog, that is

UPDATE:Thanks guys for all your support I called and left a message like you guys said. He called back and said he just was upset and he was surprised and he knew I didn't mean it and that it was a honest mistake. I apologized again and he seems to be somewhat cool with it. But I know I will have to make up some more when I get out of work I can tell he still was a little hurt over the phone.

See here is the thing he is kind of jealous and also he doesn't like my co-worker because he feels like on the sneak tip some of the stuff he says he be trying to hit on me and I tell FH our relationship is strictly bushiness. I don't even look at my co-worker in that way anyway ya know. I am so utterly with Fh and I am sure he knows that I just guess sometimes he loses site of that.

But THANK YOU Guys for helping me out with my little crisis I don't know what I do without my LIW Girls Seriously

I did the same thing once too. That's a tough one. My FH basically got over it. What can you do? You are marrying him not the co-worker, he needs to realize that you were in work mode. Good luck!

Well, when I was a litttle girl my grandmother was already up there in age and there were 14 grandkids born before me. I was happpy if she called me a female name

Tel him it could have been worse. My FH was married once before. Once when we were sitting on the couch the cat, Zoe, was acting up and he called her 'Steffanie' his ex wife's name Trust me, it could have been worse and he could have said it to me. I laughed why, apparently he associates her with 'being annoying'

FH's name begins with a D and I can't tell you how many times I've almost called him 'Dad' because I only recently stopped taking full time care of my handicapped Dad I'm off to the psychiatrist now to get that one analyzed

My FH is Jay & my brother Joe, I can't tell you how may times I yelled my brothers name At my fiance when he is annoying me!
