I had a fire in my house on April 12th.

Thank god I made it out ok and so did everyone else but I have a ton of damage. Dh and I are living in a temporary apartment for the time being. It been a horrific experience. Looks like the baby will probably be coming home to a temp apartment until our place was fixed.

I'm so sorry for this, the timing really stinks

I'm just so grateful you are okay. The baby won't mind where he will be staying short term. All he'll be interested in is having his wonderful Momma near him

Oh my goodness, how terribly frightening!

As long as you and your family (and baby!) are ok, no worries about your living situation. Your little one just wants his mommy, as long as you are all well that's all that truly matters!

but like everyone else said...the important thing is that you are all ok and safe!! your baby only needs your love and warmth...you guys will be just fine!! this too shall pass!!!!!

Thank God you are all okay!!!! Scott's family has been thru 2 horrific fires...and thank GOD no one ever got hurt. But dealing with the insurance company was a lot of work... his BIL told me to always get an independant assesor and not to use the insurance one...if you have any insurance questions let me know. I can ask his BIL. They had to rebuild almost an entire house!
