I hate playing the waiting game

So, as many of you know, I had an interview last week for a teaching position.

They told me I would hear something 'middle of the week'

It's wednesday - it's the middle - and I'm slowly going crazy.

I either want A: To get a call or
B: for the day to be over so I know that I didn't get the job and can just move on.

I hate not knowing

Why dont you call them? Just say, 'Id like to follow up on an interview for the XXX position'
