Got my dress pics & going for hair/MU trials!!

Hi everyone,
I just got some pics of my dress!!! They didn't let me try and take the pics since it was at a showroom...but I'm happy even with these....

And I'm going to have my first hair/make-up trial with Reiko tomorrow

and with Diana on Friday

Very excited and nervous. Is there anything I should prepare? I'm bringing the pics of the dress and some hair and make-up pics.

What kind of hair style do you ladies think would go with my dress? BTW I have a
lo--hong hair almost to my waist. Although I love half up/half down style, I thought I should go with an updo to show off the back of the dress...and it's going to be hot also - 8/20... What do you think?

I love that dress! What designer is it? I like the idea of half up, half down with it, but I agree that you should show off the back. Maybe you can curl your hair so that it is shorter and hits your shoulders, or just below.

Reiko just called me saying the trial is not today but next thursday!!! This is my second time I experienced when communication went wrong... Maybe it's a language barrier... or I'm just simply going crazyyy with this wedding stuff after all...

Poor Reiko probably was having a heartattack when she saw my e-mail

Anyhooo...I guess I'll do the first trial with Diana tomorrow then.

I think a low chignon is the way to go. If you're not wearing a tiara, some fresh flowers would look beautiful.

Thats a beautiful dress!!! Congratulations!! I think your probably right about not wanting to hide the dress....my hair is long too and i think i'm going to have it curled and pulled back to a loose low bun to show of the length somewhat but not hide the back of my dress! God luck and post picks after you have your hair and makeup trials!!!

What is chignon??? feel dumb...

It's just a fancy name for a low bun! lol! I think you should go loose and romantic with it. You should chekc out the hairstyle thread to get some ideas.
