Update on limo company post from yesterday...

Thank you to everyone who responded to my rant yesterday about that limo company. I can always count on the LIW girls/guys to have my back!

Last night the rep at the limo place called me back to apologize for what happened, and wants to honor his original quote. I'd like to book them, but FH isn't sure its a good idea.

I really liked the cars (ones not every company has), the price isn't bad, and honestly, I just don't feel like looking anymore! What do you think?

The only thing I would be worried about is that they don't treat you nicely again in the future.

I wouldn't do it. There are other limo companies with nice cars that won't cause you grief.

For the grief they caused you, they should lower their price from their original quote or throw in some extras that are valuable to you.

All of us should be using vendors that treat us with respect and courtesy.

I couldn't AGREE more! And YES< they do read the posts...I had a particula limo company that's a vendor here practically harrass me...and no, I'm not using them!

I wouldnt use them... The only reason he all of a sudden wants to 'honor' his original quote is because you posted how disgusted you were with the service you received.

After all the greif he gave you he should throw in extras or more incentive to bring you back as a happy customer, even then that will be a stretch because once you sign a contract with them they will probably cause you more grief...

Don't book with them! What they did was very SEEDY!!!

Yeah, they probably read the post and are now trying to make amends. I wouldn't go with them.

Wow, I guess its pretty obvious I shouldn't book with them! Oh man...back to the drawing board!

I posted on the vendor board yesterday and only one company responded! We need a large limobus and a Rolls (pref. a phantom if possible). Any recommendations appreciated...

I am using and I LOVE Double Diamond Limousines. www.limos4u.net. Cannot recommend them enough and Thomas, the owner, is SO accomodating.

hi lillian,

talked to you yesterday... i know it's tempting, but i was thinking about it and you should not have to give your money to someone you don't feel comfortable with...

i had the same prob with those other two companies i told you about and i just decided it wasn't worth stressing over and moved on...

just didn't want to give my money to people who didn't treat me the way i wanted to be treated!

it's so funny how one company treats some brides so differently from other brides???

Nope..dime a dozen...keep looking. This is too competitive of an industry for vendors to treat you that way over $30?!!! Run, don't walk away from them.

Well per your question to him asking if he is willing to lose a potential customer for $30, and his answer to you was 'yes, yes I am'.......

Then Absolutely NOT--wouldnt give him the satisfaction of giving him a penny. Let him learn his mistake by thinking before he speaks...

B/c you know what will happen, this guy already has a bad seed in your mouth, if you book, and a minor or major thing happens, you are going to do this:
