OMG....you won't believe what happened tonight

I'm in the process of cooking chicken soup. I was waiting for the soup to finish. Then all of a sudden the lights go out. I yell GARY!! He goes to look outside, and the whole block lost power also. FH calls con ed and they said they're working on it. We were more worried about the food we took out to make tomorrow. And I was worried about my first pot of chicken soup that I made. Thank god it came on.
