Re: Need help deciding.. Looking for advice
I was just wondering why pictures are the least important to you b/c at the end of a 5 hour party that is all you have left! Honestly that is where I spent most of my money. I don' t know anything about the 2 vendors you mentioned but I am using Franklin Square Photographers--www.fsphoto.com!

Re: Need help deciding.. Looking for advice
I have a list of photographers that are fantastic with various packages and prices under 1500. Let me know if you want it.

Re: Need help deciding.. Looking for advice
i dont know anything about those two vendors... my photog was $1500 to come for the day... im getting an engagement shoot, and all of the proofs(600+) and digital files...his video prices were very resonable too...if you choose a good photog, im sure they will take pictures that you feel comfortable with...

Does anyone know anything about 'the Pros'? Their prices seem pretty reasonable and they offer package deals on photographs, video and DJ-however, I don't know anyone who has used them.

All I can say is please don't skimp too much on pics....I did that and I am so disappointed...and I can never get that day back.
There are so many affordable great vendors on here for photography.

Re: Need help deciding.. Looking for advice
Hi, I am not skimping on photography--I just don't need all the enlargements, wallet size pics etc...I really just want a wedding album for us, two parent albums--and a video (and my proofs)
The quotes I got were 4300-6000--which i think is alot.
I just want to keep the cost down but still have nice pictures.

Hey Csorisi we're FSPhoto/Video people too!
We love them! Their personalities sold us! Pics & Video were top on our list. We wanted to preserve that day forever!

Re: Need help deciding.. Looking for advice
My photographer was Artie from Artistic Images and I cant say enough about him. Since I have been on this site I must have given him so much business! He is very affordable and has packages that suit everyones needs. He is on Lakeland Ave, I think in Bohemia. I got my proofs back and I am so glad I booked with him.

I'm using Proline. I thought their prices were pretty resonable and they were very professional. We went to 3 other places and I just liked all they had to offer us. I did also go to Duval which was my second choice. They were great also. If u want info on them fm me

I agree with this completely. The photographer is our most expensive vendor aside from the hall itself. that's the only keepsake we will have.
ETA:
flowers - will be dead in a few days
DJ/Band - gone as soon as the party is over
Invitations - paper that gets thrown out
none of these things are tangible. Pictures are!
