repost from NWR - bikini question to wear or not to wear..

How do you feel about this. I am asking out of curiousity - I am going on vacation next week - I am going to be 22 weeks pregnant, and my husband thinks it's sexy to show it off and wear a bikini....how do you feel about it?

If you are comfortable - go for it.

Me - when I was 17 weeks I wore a tankini but I didn't really show until I was about 23 weeks - it was just a little belly at 17 weeks...less than what most woman in bikini's wear. Once I had a bigger belly - like 7/8 months, I wouldn't have been comfortable in any bathing suit but that is just me.

At about 20-21 weeks I was wearing a tankini and felt comfortable in it, like Denise I would not have felt comfortable wearing a bikini with a huge belly, that's just me though!

Re: repost from NWR - bikini question to wear or not to wear..

Wear whatever you feel comfy in. I wore my regular bikini until about 21 weeks but then my breasts would just not fit into it anymore so I purchased the black tankini from Old Navy and I am still wearing that on the weekends. I'm currently 35 weeks plus. I like it alot because I figure I can wear it right after the baby also.

I switched to the tankini because I figured getting my belly too much color would be bad for when I hope that skins starts shrinking back after I have the baby in May. Even though I never get that much color and I have tons of sunblock I want to keep my belly skin in the best shape possible and for me that is by keeping it under wraps.

Have fun!

PS. Just be careful, I popped alot at 22 weeks so make sure whatever you bring will still cover your bits and pieces! lol

I think that pregnancy is one of the most beautiful things in the world, and you should be proud to show off your little belly!

I went on vacation at 28 weeks and wore both a bikini & tankini...people seemed to think my belly looked 'cute' - at least thats what they said. And my husband thought I looked sexy so I figured why not! You should go for it.
