Your feelings on men wearing 'feminine' colors
What do you think of men wearing so-called feminine colors, like pink and purple? I think DH would look great in both colors, but he's a realy manly man and I'm not sure if he'd go for it.Some guys can pull it off, some can't IMO.

DH has two purple button down shirts that he wears with coordinating ties, and he looks great in them. He won't wear pink though. I don't really like pink on guys.

Re: Your feelings on men wearing 'feminine' colors
I convinced DH to buy a purple shirt with coordinating tie. He almost bought pink but then backed down and went for the peach with a black/green/peach tie that is really nice on him.If the tie is right then I like the 'feminine colors' ... I just hate when they wear it 'all wrong'
Actually my very hot co-worker has a pink tie on today and he looks even hotter today.

I THINK IT'S COOL. MY DH JUST BOUGHT A LIGHT PINK DRESS SHIRT. I FINALLY CONVINCED HIM TO DO IT & HE LOOKS SO GOOD IN IT. HE EVEN GOT COMPLIMENTS FROM HIS FEMALE CO-WORKERS. HE WAS HAPPY & HIS HEAD GOT A WHOLE LOT BIGGER!

HOW ABOUT YOU BUY HIM ONE..JUST A VERY LIGHT ONE AND ASK HIM TO TRY IT ON. HE MAY LIKE IT. IT MAY JUST GROW ON HIM... MEN ARE SO HARD HEADED

Re: Your feelings on men wearing 'feminine' colors
It annoys me now because it's trendy. Previously, I was indifferent.I saw a big meathead guy wearing a bright pink polo shirt with the collar flipped up (and the requisite 5 gallons o' hairgel) and I thought he looked like a total idiot. But that might not have had anything to do with the pink shirt.

Re: Your feelings on men wearing 'feminine' colors
I have seen male co-workers in pink and lavender ties and they look great with dark suits. In fact, I complimented one of my colleagues, and it turned out that the pink tie was in honor of his brand-new granddaughter. I thought that was sweet.

Re: Your feelings on men wearing 'feminine' colors
I think it's fine and totlaly shouldn;t be as issue. It comes down to two things..liking the color, and being secure enough in your masculinity to admit it.Fh and I were shopping this weekend and he commented that all of the men's clothes were really femenine cuts and colors this season

I don't think there is anything wrong but dh would never be caught wearing those colors. He is too much of a man.

Re: Your feelings on men wearing 'feminine' colors
I love it when my DH wears pink or purple. (I find those colors flatter most men.)My DH has quite a few shirts in those colors too. He has all his dress shirts custom made, so he picks out the fabrics, not me...Obviously he's not offended to wear those colors. It's all about the fit/cut and fabric for my DH. (Besides the fact that he's pretty confident in his masculinity.)
Personally, I think pink & purple (and other feminine colors) looks very professional and rich.
Hell, I've seen some homophobes wearing really feminine shirts/t-shirts that were gray or black.

I think I'm going to just give it a shot and buy him a shirt and see what he says. If he doesn't like it, too bad!

Okay, this is weird, but if he has blue eyes, he'll probably look really good in those colors, so maybe he'll be persuaded?
Mr Boots refuses those colors because they just don't flatter him (he's got brown eyes). And he's such a fashionista!

I definately agree that some guys can pull if off and others can't. I honestly think DH would look ridiculous in pink, because that's totally not his style.Welcome New Vendors
