Calling November Brides

I decided to start a thread for us since I don't think we have one

So what do you November brides still have to do within the next few months?

This is what I have left:

FH has to get his w-ring
Buy shoes, garter, undergarments, etc
Meet with the officiant
Go to hair trial & book makeup trial
Decide if I want a headpiece/veil
Plan the reception music w/DJ
Send my invites to the calligrapher
And last but not least…. Book our honeymoon!

OH JEEEEZ! I forgot to add lose weight to my to do list as well! But at least it's a work in progress lol

Great thread!! I still have so much more to do that its impossible to list....But, I am not worried because I know everything will get done...Just about 6 months for all of us November brides....I can't wait!!!!

Work on menus/programs/placecards
Order tuxes

Mostly little things left!!

Pick out my veil
Take engagement photos
Buy shoes for the day of the wedding
Pick out tuxes
Order Kettubah
Confirm with the officiants
Do makeup/hair trials
Do music lists for the DJ

AND I AM SURE THAT THERE IS SOO MUCH THAT I AM FORGETTING!!

HAIR AND MAKEUP TRIAL.
GET THE VEIL.
GET THE UNDERGARMENTS AND SHOES
BUY THE BRIDAL PARTY GIFTS
CREATE THE PROGRAMS
FIND AN APARTMENT
SAVE A LOT MORE MONEY
BOOK THE HONEYMOON
CREATE THE MENUS
SEATING ARRANGEMENTS
ORDER INVITATIONS

AND IT KEEPS GOING AND GOING. AT LEAST ALL THE VENDORS ARE BOOKED

Finish 1 more Kissing Ball for Jr. BM
Finish learning calligraphy (that is easy though because I'm awesome at it and I'm starting to do it for people on the side )
LOSE 20LBS
Save money!!
Need to find Ring Bearer Pillow
Guestbook
Bathroom Basket
Slipper Basket (?)
BM Shoes!!
Order Flower Girl Dress (I have time for that they said late August/Early Sept)


I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting things!

Programs
Pick out Tuxes
Pick out wedding rings
Precana (we already have it set up for June 17-18th)

I think we should all keep each other in the loop on all of our accomplishments. Hopefully by Monday I will have a few more things crossed off the list!

Thanks for the boost! I just want to finish all of the planning, and enjoy the months leading up to the wedding. I finally get to see my hall all finished on Thurs, hopefully that will get me back into the swing of things!

I really felt like banging my head against the wall last night =

I got into an argument with my mom and I said to her 'maybe I should have eloped' and she said 'yea, maybe you should have'.

Whoever said 'you find out who your 'friends' really are while planning a wedding' - is a genius! My sisters and MOH's are USELESS! and the nerve of me to confront them about it.

Re-pay for my dress and find a seamstress to do alterations - (Again, B@STARDS)

Figure out how I'm going to do my hair and makeup.
Limos
Make my veil
Figure out what kind of headpiece I want.
LOSE WEIGHT!
Figure out where I want to go after the wedding (we're putting off our honeymoon until next year)
Take engagement pictures (It seems WAY too late for this, but the photographer wanted to wait),
Speak to the church's music director about music for the ceremony.
Get ideas together for the wedding cake.
Finalize the plans for the wedding cake.
Shop for and purchas wedding rings.
Purchase Bridal Party gifts
Purchase shoes, undergarments, stockings, garters, etc.
Make ring pillow
Purchase unity candle, toasting flutes, guestbook
Purchase leaves for tossing at the church
Plan rehearsal dinner
Prepare OOT welcome baskets
Prepare a must take photo list
Prepare a Do Not Play list for DJ
Prepare a Must Play list for DJ
Make programs
Make votive placecards
Host BM luncheon (I think I'm going to make this a pizza party or something cheezy)
Finalize menus, song selections, etc.
Get marriage license
Confirm final payments, schedule, pick up times, head counts, etc.
Create 'wedding box' to hold everything needed for the day
Prepare day of emergency kit
Prepare tips for each vendor in envelopes

I have a lot of other odds and ends to finish up, but these are the ones I have to, have to remember.
