Had My Shower This Weekend - Great Theme!

My mom and MOH threw my bridal shower this weekend and it was amazing. The theme was 'A Taste of Tuscany' and everything was decorated in sage green, wine colors and deep yellows.

A tent was set up on my mother's deck and we had a wine tasting by Galluccio wineries and yummy appetizers there. The tent was decked out in sunflowers, vines and grapes. Even though the weather was rainy, it felt so home-y inside the tent.

Then we went indoors and there were two large tables set up in my mom's dining room and living room and we enjoyed a great sit down meal featuring Italian pasta dishes, salad, and more wine! Then it was gift time and games. Everyone was laughing and having a great time.

I think the Tuscany theme would make a great wedding theme, so I am posting some pics for all of you to see. My Mom and MOH really out-did themselves!

Here are pics of the tent that the wine tasting was in. I cannot say enough good things about Galluccio winery. Mike was our wine expert and he spent all 5 hours with us, even going back to their store in Huntington when we ran out of wine!

The third pic shows the favors and prizes that were awarded during the games. The favors were these cute candles inside of mini wine glasses and the prizes ranged from mini photo albums to refrigerator notepads with a tuscany motif.

Awesome shower idea! My sis and mom are doing mine at my mom's house too and I am dying to see what they come up with- I doubt any restaurant could do a better job than you mom did- it looks spectacular!
