Can any past brides weigh in on this?

I love the way pins and jeweled combs look, but I want to wear a veil and I don't think you'll be able to see the pins/clips with a veil on.

Does anyone have pictures of this done successfully?

I don't have pictures, but I am going with hair jewelry over a tiara. My veil is coming off after the ceremony and some pictures, so I don't think its a big deal if you don't see the hair jewelry during the church.
