So...if you bought a BM dress For 'Runaway Bride'...

...you're seriously pissed right now!

I can't believe that. I read she got cold feet. That's really sad!

Re: So...if you bought a BM dress For 'Runaway Bride'...

I know!

And the guy still wants to marry her! I don't get that. He's got to be seeing a side of her that he didn't know existed!

DH and I were talking about it, and I told him that while I could never imagine doing such a thing like faking a kidnapping to mask cold feet, I could understand if he would not want to marry me afterwards. He admitted that if someone had done that to him, he wouldn't want to marry her either.

Re: So...if you bought a BM dress For 'Runaway Bride'...

A friend of mine was a bridesmaid once...and spent about $300 on the dress...(in '98 I think)
The bride cancelled the wedding the NIGHT before it was supposed to happen, kept all of the gifts and didn't bother to offer to pay for any of the bridesmaid's dresses

And then she went out shopping with my friend a month or so later and spent around $300 on a pocketbook......just plain rude!!!
I don't think they're friends any longer

It's such a publicity stunt. Obviously she is not ready for marriage. You know thats not gonna last. Imagine being invited to that wedding? I'd be surprised if any guests show up to that affair.

I bet some tv station is going to try to pay for their wedding now.

I just think it is disgusting that this woman let so many people search for her. That is awful!

I think she should have been arrested!!! Wasting all those resources & tax payers money on a frivolous nationwide search.

Re: So...if you bought a BM dress For 'Runaway Bride'...

I feel really bad for her but at the same time I think she is so slefish. Her poor FI and family, what she put them through. I guess as we find out more about her condition I will form a better opinion of her. Did she have a complete mental breakdown?
