Where to go shoe shopping and MOB dresses?

I feel I should get my butt in gear and do some wedding planning (I've been lazy!). Where to go for shoes? I don't want to spend much money b/c I hate heels (they kill my back) and plan on taking them off ASAP.

Also, mom still needs a dress. She's gone to so many places but can't find anything. She's not looking for a gown which is why it's also been so difficult. She's looked at all the major dept stores and nothing.

Oh, we're looking for places in Western Suff or Nassau. Thanks everyone!

I still need to look for MOB dresses (not having luck with my mom either) and my makeup artist suggested My Daughters Wedding (which I believe she said was in Great Neck) and there was another dress shop she recommended in Great Neck but the name escapes me right now-I'll try to find out and let you know

Ive heard sugarplum is good for mob...also girls have gone to dept stores. i would also check out estelles- they have a nice selection of forrmal gowns

My mom and FMIL both like Totally You in Bellmore/Wantagh for MOB dresses...

As for shoes... theres a few places

Sandys Shoes in Massapequa
Dyeing for You in Lindenhurst
The Shoe Boutique in Babylon
The Bridal Shoe Boutique in Carle Place
Craft Shoes in Commack

I got my shoes at Casa Di Mario in Patchogue and my mom is wearing a bridemaids dress.

My MIL got hers at Estelles in Huntington. They have a great shoe department too!

Entoto Couture in Great Neck. My mom got her dress there...I hightly recommend it!!

Try Sugar Plum in Lynbrook. My mother got
her dress there. THey have a great selection of dresses.

For MOB Dresses I recommend OMINIBUS in Babylon my Mom got her dress from there and they were great she found the perfect dress

For shoes I would check out Sandys Shoes. I got mine there yesterday and they werent expensive at all.

I got my shoes at Varone's in Sayville. Wonderful people. I've gotten shoes from them before and they will dye them to another color after the wedding free of charge so you can wear them again if you wish.
