FH & I FINALLY tried Carraba's tonight!

We'd never been there, and kept hearing great things (LIWs included!), so we went tonight.

Not the place for a quiet, 'special' dinner, but overall, the place was great.

The food was fabulous, our waitress was awesome, and we didn't even have to wait because we called ahead and put our names on the list.

We were talking to people that were waiting an HOUR for a table, so if you're going, call ahead!!!

Just to make everyone hungry: I had spinach and chicken ravioli in a creamy tomato sauce, and FH had linguine and shrimp, mussels, and scallops in a spicy marinara. Food was SO GOOD!!!

You should try it if you haven't already

yea which is why i was shocked...BUT i am VERY PICKY...I really do not like any seafood.

DH had the steak and he thought it was good...I had the fetticini...BLEH....i like Olive Gardens better!

i don't eat any fish either - but the spinach/ricotta/chicken ravioli were so yummy!!!

I've been there and had the same ravioli that you had and LOVED them. I thought the place was really good too!!!

it is right next to it...in practically the same parking lot...

It is Daves, a funeral home, carrabas

I love BBQ chicken and cornbread--is the chicken good there? I live right near the Famous Dave's that is opening here!

There is one near me, but I have heard mixed reviews and have not tried it yet.

We've been there a few times...and the service has been going downhill every visit....not all bad...but it was exceptional the first time.
the food has always been delicious though

I was curious if this place was any good. Its not near me anymore but I do got out there sometimes to visit my parents.
