Brides with Shoulder Length Hair
Please help. What did you/are you doing with your hair. I keep choosing updos and then get told that I don't have enough hair to do them, so I think I need suggestions of actual workable dos that I can choose from. Thanks so much. Am getting very frustrated to not have settled on a style yet.

Who tells you this?? I have heard that shoulder length hair is easier to put up than really long hair.Try getting a trial and see what happens.
Good Luck

You could ask your stylist to put in entensions.

you're hair will grow a lot in the next 4-5 weeks. hair and nails grow much faster in the spring and summer.you should still be able to have an updo.
my hair wasn't even shoulder length for my sister's wedding and I had one. What she did was curl a lot of pieces of my hair and the pinned them to the back and on top of my head. it looked really cute!

my hair rests on my shoulders, but I am trying to grow it as much as I can before august. I think I am going to wear it half up/half down, when I go for a trial I'll decide then.

a classic french twist works with any length of hair--maybe add a comb? don't mind the feathers, just a picture of a good french twist. second photo is of a bow hair do-think it would work well with shoulder length hair, but i have no idea how to achieve it.
yes, thanks. French twist is one that works well. Ofcourse after we tried it and I liked it, she explained to me that she thought it would not work well with veil because it is difficult to insert and will cover up the best feature of the hair do. Ugh! so that works as a back up should I decide to 86 the veil. keep em coming guys. Thanks

what about tucked under with a wrap around the pony tail...this one is a fan chignon, basically tucked under with a piece wrapped around the pony tail holder.
i can definitely try that. Up til now, when I brought it up the stylist was anti-chignon because they claim that it's a weird effect when you have the direction of your hair down instead of up because it brings the line of your face down. And, because they say the veil will have nothing to catch on to. So she was resistant to doing it. See, what they're doing. They're making me completely neurotic about something that should be simple. AAAAH

It's really ridiculous that they are stressing you out so much. They are supposed to be helping you not making you more stressed out. Want me to beat someone up for you?
I think a chigion would look great!
