The walk thru went great! The only thing i'm a little upset about is that they switched out the fridge. The day we presented our offer, there was a white frig (nice) the kind with the freezer at the bottom. Yesterday, there was an old beige one, (freezer door on top).....it's in decent condition, but still. We're not going to make a big deal about it b/c we have a nice side by side we're bringing with us anyway, I just thought it was kind of sneaky on their part.

There are 10 Dogwood Trees on our property!!!! I am soooo happy about that...I love Dogwoods!

The seller had everything just about cleared out, and both the kitchen and the bathroom was immaculate. I cannot wait to go to closing tomorrow!!!

as for the fridge thing: yeah, I thought it was kinda shady...but we're comfortable with everything else, b/c DH's really good friend is an engineer, and he assured us we are getting a great home in sound condition. only minor things that can be expected with a home this age. (40 yrs)

as for the trees: the sellers' wife had planted six of them in one area on the left side of the house, along with some bush that has these beautiful purple flowers, then there's one right in front of the house, and 3 on the right of the house...plus there's azalea bushes, rhodadendrum's (sp?), a chinese maple on the left towards the middle of the house...and a blossoming red berry, or cranberry tree????? as well..(this name I'm not sure of though)....

That is shady about the fridge. But I guess at least they left one at all.

yeah...we were supposed to close on friday, but then it got pushed back to this thurs b/c we couldnt do the w/t until this week...(dh's job/timing, etc..)
