Re: Bands (music)
what's your budget? i was originally looking for a band under $5000, but couldn't find any that i liked so i settled on splurging a little more. most bands are $5,000-$10,000 that i've seen.we're using franklin wayne's heart & soul. his bands are pretty popular.

Re: Bands (music)
It depends what you think of reasonably priced. I booked Renegade & they are about $6200 just for the reception. The most resonably priced bands that were good that I saw was the Skyline Orchestra bands--and they have showcases all the time--they ranged from $4800 to $6000 but that was last March when I was looking they might have went up.

Re: Bands (music)
We usd a band called Moonlight Silhouettes and they were $4500. There prices may have gone up since then though. You can hear some samples at www.stolenmoments.com Initially we wanted the original Stolen Moments, but they were booked for our date- they're also a little more $$.

We used Ken James Orchestra and absolutely loved them. They were recommended to us and we would highly recommend them. Two other couples from our wedding are using them now. They are very professional and kept the party going all night long!

I used them. They were wonderful. When I booked in 2003 they were 6,000 for 5 hours. That included the cocktail hour.
You are going to love them. My dance floor was full all night.

Re: Bands (music)
look at Naked Truth. Very reasonably priced. The nice thing about them is that you are dealing directly with the band members which keeps the price more reasonable. Check them out! http://www.nakedtruthband.com/

Re: Bands (music)
We are using the Naked truth. The guy who 'runs' then band and is a singer and instrumentalist was my high school music teacher. He gave us a ridiculous price!! But thats cuase we know him. Still, they are resonably priced and will work within your budget. Give him a call..his name is Joe Cavalea. His # is on the band's website

Try Ron James - www.ronjames.com I'm using him as a DJ/MC, but his main thing is his band. From the samples on the website they sounded great.
