Girls getting married or who got married at their hall..

any of you getting ready there or if you are past bride, got ready in the bridal suite of your hall? I mean hair/make up and getting dressed. I am thinking of doing this but I'm not 100% sure. I'm getting dressed there but I am not sure about the hair/ make up.

Please let me know if it was a good experience. Thanks!

I’m having my makeup and hair person meet me at my place and I’m getting dressed there too. FH will be at a hotel and the limo and I will swing by there to pick him and the BP up.

I don't think I want to put my dress on at the bridal suite because as it is, I only allotted for about 2 hours for pictures. I don’t want to take any more time away from that.

I'm having hair and makeup done at my house and then heading to the RH and will put my dress on there and then take pix.

Be sure to check with your hall about how early you can show up. My hall said 2 hours.

I think I'm going to get ready at my mom's house bc I want to ride in the limo all ready to go. Plus I'd like to get the house pics of me coming down the stairs and walking out on the front lawn. It's just how I've always pictured the morning of my wedding to be.

My place will only let me get there an hour and a hlaf early, and well have to do pics then, so theres no way :(

Yeah, I think I am going to do the same thing. My place said I could get there at 8am if I wanted to! (will probably be more like 9 or 10 though!)

I can arrive anytime at my reception hall. I won't be having the photog. to the house but I really think I want to get ready at home. I'll be too nervous about forgetting something if I bring my dress to the hall and get dressed there. I will also feel weird about showing up not ready. I did consider it, though, especially because I am considering hiring the hair and makeup person to stick around and touch me up, and it is easier if they just go to one place to do everything.

i;m getting ready at home, i'm arriving at the hall 45 minutes before the ceremony, i'll snap a few pics in the bridal suite with my girls then it's down the aisle!!

I don't live in NY, my FILs do. So while my FH can get ready at his parents house, I will probably do it in the bridal suite with my BP. I think it will be better to get ready together there than in our individual rooms in the hotel.
