A bunch of us girls at work were just talking about things we hide in our home...

I hide Chocolate...so there is always a stash when Im PMSing

one night I was so mad at DH I made him sleep on the couch and I hid the remote so he couldn't watch tv all night and not mull over his badness

I have no room anywhere in my tiny apartment to hide any goodes. DH will find them and when he does he'll eat it all...LOL

This is going to sound really silly. I hide money in the pockets of my coats,jackets and pants and try to forget about it. Then when I put on the item (or wash it) it's like I have found money.

I used to hide sweets when both my brother and I lived home. I would also hide my shampoo and conditioner because my brother ALWAYS used my shampoo. I didn't buy expensive shampoo for HIS hair!!!!

I used to hide cigarettes when I smoked so I always had a little secret stash (or several secret stashes)...really bit me in the azz when I was quitting!

But I don't really hide anything anymore... except the pictures from my bachelorette party.

I don't hide anything from DH. Not worth it. If he stumbled upon it, he would get pouty.

ive sort of done this....I usually forgot that I left the money in my pockets. Its great when you find it.

I hide cookies and candy because DH is diabetic and I feel bad tempting him with stuff he shouldn't have. But I NEED to have it around for myself!

I do this sometimes also....and then I surprise DH with extra$$$ for vacation and extra$$$$ for things he wants but didnt think we had the money for it.
I am doing this now for the kids swingset

p.s. I do not keep the money at the house though
I had a bad experience when someone broke in my old house and stole $700 from us

I also hide change....I actually got FH to start doing this also...we roll it up just before every vacation...its always nice to have an extra 100 or 200 for your trip...its like found money
