hot air balloon ride?? anyone??

FMIL wants so badly to go on a hot air balloon ride. I am interested in getting a private balloon ride for her and ffil, myself, fbil and MAYBE fh (if he can handle the heights hahaha). its somewhat costly but I think its a great parent gift for her. has anyone ever done this, who did you go with?? TIA

My fiance proposed to me on a hot air balloon - he totally surprised me so I don't know all the details but we left from Clinton New Jersey -

It was AMAZING and I definitely recommend doing it!

They do them in Napa and Sonoma in CA, but I don't know about around here. Try yellowpages.com

I did it.
It was one of the most amazing experiences.
We did a sunrise ride in Australia, over the Outback. We saw kangaroos & wild camels running below us...It was unreal!
I'm a scardey cat with amusement park rides & stuff, but this was totally different. It was really smooth, like you're floating.
GO FOR IT!!!

it's really great! Did it in AZ with sister and mother and really was not as scarey as you'd think...but I really have no fear f heights. the landings are a little ruff,,,but the view - AMAZING! I was looking to do it in lake george but it's like $200+ per person. Usually the baskets hold anywheres around 8 people


My FH and I did this in Arizona, too! It was great! We landed the middle of the desert and had breakfast after the ride. I loved it!

i was looking into it for some occassion last year i cant remember which one, and it was super expensive for only an hour... BUT I am sure it is beautiful!
They do them in CT and NJ I think somewhere in NY too

we will at some point- it must be amazing

I'd do a websearch. I know they do it someplace in the Poconos and upstate NY.
