YES!

ETA: I think it ended up on a tv from a bride who got the call and that they were a hoax.
They say...if its too good to be true, It usually is!

Re: i know people have asked before but i never paid attention

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I received the same call a while ago. It did sound too good to be true. My fiance was skeptical so I just figured it was a company trying to sell me something or make money so I never called them back.

Re: i know people have asked before but i never paid attention

It's no a hoax but they are trying to sell you something. It all depends on how valuable your time is. They will give you a voucher for a free hotel stay but you have to listen to them give you a presentation on their services. If I'm not mistaken, prestige is a package type place like Queens Bridal. One stop shopping....you can get your photographer/flowers/tuxes/invites all from them. Being that they just called me two weeks ago I politely declined since all my major vendors are done but if you've got free time and you're just starting it doesn't hurt to sit there and listen to them babble for an hour or two. FH and I did it with another company that was selling pots and pans. We didn't buy the $2K worth of cookware but it was entertaining at least (and they cooked for us!)

Re: i know people have asked before but i never paid attention

We got the call months ago and they want you to come look at their products and spend money - in return, you get their 'prizes'

Re: i know people have asked before but i never paid attention

Ok Ladies!
I am going to be honest as much as a jerk I feel...I Work at 'royal prestige' (I am a teacher by day saving $$ for the wedding working part time)
OK I call places like Texas, Maine, CT, and RI (not NY)
basically they are giving you the 'prizes' for your time. It is advertising and you would be shocked at how many people actually come down and see something they like and buy. They also do bridal registry stuff too...But the trip is legit.
Long story short..I was in Vegas 2 weeks ago and I got free show tickets and dinner for 1.5 hours of my time to listen to a time share...So ladies our time is valuable and they give the trips cause you remember the name and as we say...best Advertisement is word of mouth. I ONLY work there cause I need the money and after running after kids all day it is easy to make calls.
Sorry this is long but I felt the need to share.

Re: i know people have asked before but i never paid attention

I actually went...I figured it was worth and hour of my time! We decided not to go on the trip since it seemed a little shady, but it is a great place for people on super tight budgets.
