Re: When should you book your Rehearsal Dinner...

My FIL booked ours about two months in advance and had no problems, but we got married in February, so it was not a bust time, no holidays. You shouldn't have to book too early either because there are no big party holidays in October. So I would say about two months in advance.

Re: When should you book your Rehearsal Dinner...

I just booked mine yesterday. The place that we really wanted was booked, but all the others we looked at were available.

Re: When should you book your Rehearsal Dinner...

FH's Mom booked ours soon after we picked our reception hall (over a year ago), but we're having it in a separate room at the Huntington Bay Club. If you're having it at a regular restaurant you shouldn't need to book that early, but I would check your date and make sure it doesn't coincide with any holidays or anything (graduations, etc.) b/c then things will book up sooner.

Re: When should you book your Rehearsal Dinner...

I booked mine last August. 9 months in advance. I say it's never too early to get this stuff out of the way, if you have a date and hall picked.
