Uncle wants to know how many people he can invite?

So my Uncle (OOT) calls me yesterday and leaves a message saying' Hello Jennifer this is your favorite Uncle... I just wanted to say hello and see how the wedding plans are going and also I want to ask you how many guest can I invite to your wedding? I already invited a few but just wondered how many I can invite??!!!!'

Is he joking?!!!!!! I was so shocked by this message I could not call him back or I would have BUGGGGEDDDDDDD... And FI heard the message and said 'WHAT DID HE SAY?'
And went off....

This is also the same Uncle whose Girlfriend is coming and bringing her sons ex-wifes sisters daughter to keep my 14 yr old cousin company.

Ummmm Am I really related to these people?

People have no clue!!! Tell him the guest list has been prepared already, the hall can't hold any more people and you're sorry, but he cannot invite anyone!!!

Some people tend to come out of the wood work during wedding planning.
Some of FH's family has come up to me and asked if they can bring guests and if the photographer can take family portraits (meaning not with us, just their immediate family members)
Hey, I don't care, but I am not paying for their family pictures.
SOME PEOPLE HAVE NO CLUE!!!

You can tell the ones who want family portraits that they will be sent the bill for your photographers hourly rate.

i guess its funnier when you say it, as opposed to reading it... b/c im sitting here saying it out loud, With a British accent, and i'm cracking myself up

(while DH sits sadly in the other room, scratching his head and wondering what he ever did to deserve this)
