As I sit here eating my thin mints, I wonder...

how many of you girls were once Girl Scouts. I was for a few years, and I had a really good time!

I did and I even got up to my silver award. It helped me get community service scholarships when I applied to college. If I had known it would help, I might have even stayed in to get my gold award! I did it until 9th grade???

i was a girl scout alll the way!! lol, i can't believe i am telling you guys that.

i even got my gold award, nobody in my school ever knew cause it was so uncharacteristic of me, i was usually a crazy gal. but for once a week on a wed. i was a good lil girl scout.

I was a girl scout!! Hahahahaha!!! I think its funny!!! AND, I got my Silver award. So embarrassing!!! THEN, when I got older and I was strapped for cash and I needed a job while I got my masters degree I worked for the Suffolk County Girl Scouts!!! HAHAHAHAH!!! Man, thats funny!

I made it to brownie status in 5th grade, we make cookies, candles, sold cookies, and I got a few patches with the green outfit and I lost interest. Guess that's the way it goes!

I was only a brownie

after that 4H

I laugh now at the brownie's I remember going door to door selling cookies....now they are set up in warm cozy banks!!

But I am a suker for those cookies!!!

I got mine too- my friends and I kept under wraps though--- we would say we were going to Girls Soccer-(Girl Scouts)

No one but us knew until our names were in the paper after we got our gold and by that time i was a senior and didnt care at all!

(we didnt wear the skirts/uniforms at all!)

Oh yes....up until about 7th or 8th grade...we kept it secret when we got to middle schools though..We said we were in a babysitters club

Yeah like that sounded soooo much better

Unfortunately, I was never a Girl Scout. I am quite jealous, cause I always wanted to be. But my little sis is, and last night was her 'flying up' ceremony from Brownies to Juniors. I'm so proud of her!! She's getting so big!

I wasn't a Girl Scout but I did go to Girl Scout camp every year from the age of 7-11.

I always wanted to bc all my friends were. But my parents made me choose between GS or dancing, so I did that instead; all the way up to 12th grade. They couldn't afford to let me do both and have my 2 bros in lil league, so I had to pick just one. So I decided to make fun of my friends when they had to wear their uniforms, they hated them! Lol, but I buy the yummy cookies!! Somoas and Tagalongs are the bestest!!!
