Your reception halls.. a little help here people!
Hi Girls.. haven't posted on the boards in like a week b/c I have been to approx 7 or 8 reception halls in NJ this week!!!My dillemma: We have only 100 people, and a lot of these places need to guarantee 150 + it seems like there is a stipulation everywhere we go.. my NJ options are dwindling (at least it feels like), they want to offer us a day wedding, or the smaller room, etc which is fine but nothing has really jumped out at me yet.
So I am now re-considering NYC/Long Island.. if you guys don't mind could you FM me price ranges for your reception hall? Thanks so much!!!!

Westbury Manor. They have 2 rooms which can hold smaller groups. Upstairs room approx 70 people. Garden Room up to 120ish.I don't know the current rates. There is a magazine that lists the fee ranges which are given at Bridal Expos. The range for WM could be 80-120/pp, but can't swear to it. I got a good rate when I booked in Jan.
Good Luck!

The minimum for Stonebridge is only 115 (or maybe 125). I know the max is 150, we're also having a small wedding. It's the perfect size for something intimate!

Check out the Harbor Club in Huntington. It is on the water and it is one wedding at a time.

those rates for that time of year look about rate. I had to guarantee 100 people for a Sunday night in the Manor room, which is the biggest I think, but still only has a max. capacity of 175. It's great for a 'small' wedding
