Wow! Went casually looking at wedding bands (rings) today!

It all became so real as I looked at my finger realizing that the combo of my e-ring and the band will be a permanent fixture on my hand! Wow - it's been over a year since I got engaged - I thought I was numb to all this giddiness!!!

I just went in so I could get an idea for budget purposes, but I basically fell in love with one particular band. They're trying to order it (or others like it) in platinum so it matches my e-ring. It's got princess cut diamonds all around - so it perfectly matches my ring - and it's low, so it sits below my e-ring stone. I can't wait for FI to see it - but I think I'll wait a few months before I bring him into the fold! And the kicker is - I was pleasantly surprised at the price. Not that it's reasonable or affordable - but it's better than I was imagining!

I looked yesterday too! OMG and I found one I liked! I will have it made by the jeweler that got my e-ring!

Where my FI got my e-ring - Whitman Jewelers on Rte. 110. Never would have thought of them, but FI loved the way they treated him when he got the e-ring.

wooo so exciting!!! FI been saying since the day we got engaged, how he wants to wear a ring on his finger too, so everyone knows that he is engaged ...
so we're going ring shopping soon!

I just hope I'll be able to control myself from putting on the wedding band all the time...

It truly sets in when you see both rings on your one hand! FH had my wedding ring custom made to match my e-ring...I am not allowed to see it until the wedding...I can't wait to see especially since FH did such a great job with my e-ring
