Dress Shopping!! Update at bottom

I am so excited......today I am going wedding gown shopping in Manhattan with my Mom and FMIL. We are heading to the Bridal Building and perhaps RK Bridal. We'll see what happens. I'll keep you girls posted. Alls I know is I'm so anxious to get there!! Have a great day every one!!

Thanks to all of you who wished me luck and a good time. You all probably thought I dropped off the face of the earth. I have been so extremely busy, it's not even funny. But besides that, I had such a blast shopping with my Mom and FMIL. We ended up going to the Bridal Building first...a little nervous because none of us ever really traveled into the city without the men and we really had no idea where we were going..but we managed. Needless to say, the Bridal Building had three floors open with a couple of shops on each floor. In each shop I tried on dresses. I fell in love with one dress in one of the shops but the silly lady wouldn't tell me the maker of the dress..only the model number. Besides it was a little out of my price range (big pout on the spot). After trying on tons and tons of dresses in all styles, we decided to head to RK Bridals. This place was amazing....had every dress maker imaginable and all sorts of dresses. I loved it. Had to wait a bit to try on the dresses, but Olga who worked with me was wonderful. I tried on about 8 dresses and fell in love with three of them...even tried on my dream dress (Eve of Milady) which was definitely not within my price range. My FMIL wanted me to try it so I wouldn't be disappointed. Well Olga (the woman helping me) found a dress.....Mori Lee style 3732 closer to my price range...but still a bit much. I absolutely loved this dress!! Then I loved a Dere Kiane style 1354 dress and a Jaquline style 9338. Right now I'm in a toss up between the three of them. I'm also trying to find these dresses online, but not having much success with that. Found the Dere Kiane one. They are all so different and are beautiful. So needless to say, I'm in the middle of picking between and weighing out my options. We are either going to venture back into the city with a third opinion (my FI's cousin) or try looking on the island for these dresses. We shall see....Just wanted to update you all.. The shopping was definitely a blast. Felt like a Barbie Doll trying on all of these dresses and even had some tears from my Mom and FMIL. Now this all seems so real. Well I suppose it better seem real...this Friday will be my one year away mark. Whoo hoo!!
